Athens – As a part of Consilium Advisory’s continuous market intelligence and discovery exercises, economic indicators and expert economists’ analyses for the first half of 2017 confirm that Greece is well on its way to sustainable economic growth after about a decade of dreadful recessions and economic crises. The Greek economy stabilized in 2016 and GDP is projected to grow by 1.1% in 2017 and 2.5% in 2018.

Consilium Advisory executives have been in contact with a multitude of business, government and semi-government organizations in Greece to pave the way for wider collaborations for Consilium Advisory and its Middle Eastern clients. A series of meetings was held between August 23 – 30, 2017.

One of the most important meetings held was that of Dr. Mohammad Barakat, Consilium Advisory’s Managing Partner with Mrs. Eleni Foti, the Director of International Commercial Relations at the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Director of the Athens Startup Business Incubator (THEA).

Both parties agreed to pursue cooperation on all fronts based on ACCI’s impending Board approval of the 2018 plan. The meeting included a visit to the new premises of THEA.
